Do you buy them new? Buy them used? Check them out from the public library? Borrow from friends? Read e-books? I personally buy them new or used (preferrably used, as it is MUCH cheaper, but I do sometimes have to break down and get new ones if I really want a particular book I can't find at the old store downtown ), and lately I've checked out a couple from the school library. Did you get any for Christmas? I got a bunch of Dianna Wynne Jones books under the tree this year. I got some from The Crestomanci Series, both Volume I and Volume II, which is the equivalent of four stories, and I got "Conrad's Fate". I can't wait until I have time to read them all. ;D

I buy them. I feel a hole inside me, no joke, when I return a book to the library after I read it. I also have an unjustified prejudice against mass market paperbacks. I got Stephen King's new book, Cell, for Christmas, and a book about interpreting dreams. I can't wait to read them ... that is after I finish my school reading.

Lol, I know what you mean! Almost every book I've ever checked out from the library I've ended up buying later. Yet again, I know what you mean. What I would give to be able to read "Conrad's Fate" instead of "The Scarlet Letter". . .

I buy my books, or borrow them from unwitting friends. I got the latest Darren Shan book, 'Bec', for Xmas.

I usually check out books from the library and buy graphic novels... I only buy the books I really want and usually buy them at Barnes and Noble.
